Baby #2

Surprise! Emma's going to be a big sister. Baby #2 is on his or her way. I'm 14 weeks pregnant (due April 25). I haven't had the best luck pregnancy-wise since Emma, so I'm cautiously optimistic. Of course, though, Andrew, Emma, and I are thrilled. 

The details so far:

08/19/10: positive test

09/03/10: first ultrasound, saw the tiny heart beating

09/17/10: second ultrasound, saw heartbeat again

10/14/10: heartbeat 162 on doppler, 164 on ultrasound (3rd good ultrasound -- little feet crossed, moving arms and hands)

11/12/10: next appointment, will schedule big ultrasound (to find out sex) then

It will certainly be an interesting winter!
