Team Go Deb

My family is so cool. My amazing Aunt Debbie recently found out she has breast cancer and needs a mastectomy (upgraded from the lumpectomy she was expecting). She's an incredibly upbeat and positive person and has handled her cancer more gracefully than anyone could imagine. (She told my mom that just about all the females in Scottsdale have had boob jobs, so why shouldn't she? That totally cracked me up. That's so Deb.)

Today my mom signed up for the Lee National Denim Day in honor of Deb. The gist of it is that by donating $5 (or more) to the Women's Cancer Programs, you earn the right to wear jeans to work on October 5. My mom actually created a team called "Go Deb" (appropriate) and sent the link to a few of our female family members. We've already reached and surpassed the modest fund-raising goal my mom set. So, if anyone else wants to join our team, the more the merrier. Go Deb!
