So much has happened since my last post. So much that I haven't had time to process it all, let alone write it all down. Lindsay's allergy got worse. I stopped nursing. I changed my diet (allergen-free). I started nursing again. Andrew lost his job. Lindsay celebrated her three month birthday. My mom moved in. I went back to work. Andrew got a contract job. Lindsay celebrated her four month birthday. Emma turned four and moved up to the Pre-K room. Lindsay learned to roll over from tummy to back. My dad fell and broke his foot (badly). My mom moved out and we lost our babysitter. I turned 29 again. Lindsay learned to roll over from back to tummy, started eating rice cereal and celebrated her five month birthday. One of our outlets started spontaneously sparking. I got an ear infection.
Throw in a few dozen kids birthday parties, play dates, trips to Maine, visits with family and friends and there you have it. Life. "If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it" (Ferris Bueller). Ferris had a point. Now I get it. I just wish I was living it less like Cameron and more like Ferris (in an awesome 80s-style leopard print vest?).
