Emma and I were just having a pleasant conversation about how I'm her mother and she's my daughter. I was explaining to her what a special relationship we have and how I hope that someday we'd be friends. She'd grow up and perhaps have a family of her own, become a successful doctor, etc. What was Emma's response? "No more monkeys jumping on the bed!" It took me a minute to understand, but of course -- that's what the doctor says! Oh, that little girl. She cracks me up.

Dr. Emma
