Chez Gershman

No, we haven't fallen off the face of the earth. It's just been a long and exhausting month. We're finally beginning to feel settled (or at least functional) in our new house. Andrew and I are surprised about what a challenge it's been to move/unpack with a toddler. Plus, the elements (rain and snow) have definitely been against us. We didn't plan on spending so many of our weekend hours bailing water out of the basement and shoveling! We're just taking it one day at a time. Anyway, I've had several requests for pictures, so here you go! It's definitely a work in progress...

Bathroom before and after. (Wallpaper--what a pain in the butt!)

This border is gone.
Playroom before and after. (Red paint is a pain in the butt too.)
Dining room before and after. All we did was refinish the floors. Eventually we'll paint.
Living room before and after. Again, all we did was the floors.
Kitchen before and after. We painted and installed a new microhood. We're actually a lot more unpacked than this, but I haven't taken a recent picture...
Water in the basement. (Ugh! We hadn't even been moved in for two weeks!)
Snow!
