The last week has been a complete whirlwind. Andrew and I have been homeowners since Monday. (Finally!) We had our wood floors refinished on Tuesday. Andrew also started moving some odds and ends into the basement and/or attic while I stripped wallpaper. On Wednesday I cleaned the kitchen cabinets, fridge, and oven. Wednesday we had a lovely Thanksgiving at Aunt Anne & Uncle Larry's. Friday we made about four thousand trips to Home Depot and Lowe's (and spent about a billion dollars) while Dad fixed some outlets, installed a new microhood, switched up some light fixtures, replaced a shower head, etc. Saturday I painted the kitchen and hallway while Andrew raked about four billion piles of leaves (he's still raking as I type) and Dad, Larry, and Bob did some more stuff. Today Dad built some shelves in the bathroom while I touched up some paint and installed some new window blinds. Andrew and I are thrilled and, honestly, a bit overwhelmed. We plan to start moving stuff in as soon as the floors are dry (Tuesday? Wednesday?). And we hope to be moved in by the end of next weekend. In the meantime, Mom has been babysitting non-stop and Emma surely knows that something's up. Emma starts at her new daycare tomorrow; hopefully the transition is smooth. I can't believe I have to go to work tomorrow. How am I supposed to focus?!
Anyway, hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. The Gershmans certainly have a lot to be thankful for this year! :)

Pictures please! (When you have the time.)
Sounds like you've been busy- you are house warriors!!!! Can't wait to see pictures or the real thing live! Congrats!
How exciting (and tiring and annoying at the same time)! I can't wait to visit sometime! Maybe my kid won't puke on everything!!!
I'm holding pictures ransom until you all come and visit. And Mo, your kids are always welcome to puke on my floor and poop in my tub! :)
