Just for the memory books, "hi, da da" wasn't a fluke. Emma has also--finally--started saying "ma ma" on a more regular basis (I'm only "da da" 50% of the time now) and she's signing milk and fish. We're working on the sign for "thank you" next. She also puts her arms out and makes a buzzing sound to imitate an airplane. And she points out the window (or up if she's outside) if you ask her to find the trees or the sky. So funny. She will also point to certain pictures (bottle, broccoli, kitty cat, etc.) in one of her favorite books, "First 100 Words." She now says up, night night ("nah nah"), yes ("yah"), and she's trying really hard to say belly button ("beeba"). So much fun stuff happening. She is learning so fast.
House update: We had our inspection on Sunday and all went well. Our lawyer has the P&S and is making some minor adjustments. Now we just sign, wait, and pray that the sellers find a house by 10/27.
