It's official. Emma can laugh. It happened for the first time two Sundays ago (11/11) while we were playing peek-a-boo in her car seat. Andrew and I totally thought it was a fluke. It happened a second time last Sunday at Aunt Anne & Uncle Larry's. (I kept kissing her.) And it finally happened a third time today when I picked her up from daycare. It is absolutely hilarious. It comes from way deep down and is kind of this throaty little giggle. Anyway. The whole mom thing is so much more fun now that she's more interactive.
Oh, and apparently, Emma is an artistic genius. She "made" the Thanksgiving card, Indian headdress (is that PC nowadays?), and turkey below. Not bad for a three-month-old. She's having way more fun at daycare than she ever had at home, I think.

wow Congrats to Emma!!! I soo wish I could be there for her first thanksgiving family get together! She's got to get used to the whole family together sooner or later! Have fun!
I am loving Busy Bee! And yes- Emma is an artistic genius- and also very good at handwriting too!
All right so first of all I use the word "gobbledygook" like it's goin outta style: excellent choice.
2) Pretty precocious kid you got there: I absolutely couldn't have constructed the headdress or the Thanksgiving card (I also couldn't have drawn the turkey, but honestly Amy: it looks suspiciously like a hand...I feel like there may have been some tracing going on there. Also the handwriting's really good...almost too good, know what I'm saying?).
Anyway say hi to Emma for me, happy turkey day, see you soon.
I want Emma to laugh all day. I love it. I also want to go to BusyBee daycare. Much more fun then my job.
