Sugar and spice and everything nice...

Well, today was our big ultrasound. At first Baby G. wouldn't cooperate, but after a little poking and prodding, the technician finally got the money shot. And instead of telling us out loud, the Dr. typed it on the screen: G-I-R-L...

Of course, I immediately started crying. Andrew and I couldn't be more thrilled. We immediately went shopping for all things pink and even bought our baby girl her very first doll (a Cabbage Patch Kid named Kate!). We wanted to get her a few special things on the day we found out she was a she.

We actually have to go back for a second ultrasound since the baby was uncooperative and we didn't get all the pictures we needed. She must take after her mother; she likes to do things her own way. I'm pooped. What. A. Day.
