My textbook pregnancy
It's funny. I feel like I've been so lucky throughout my life, hardly ever being sick and almost never being sick enough that it's affected my daily life...until I got pregnant! I am absolutely not complaining. I wouldn't trade it for the world and I've never been happier. But, if you read through the list of symptoms, I have had them all. From morning sickness (well, all day sickness) and food aversions to bloody gums and noses. My latest symptom is headaches; I've had a bad one three out of the five past days. I didn't even know this was a pregnancy symptom until I got out my handy pregnancy book. Lo and behold, it says headaches are common from 16-20 weeks. Well, for me, they started on the first day of my 16th week! Ha! Textbook. Anyway. I feel like a big wimp and poor Andrew for having to put up with me, but all these things really are happening to my body. Trust me … I wish they weren't. Well, off to take some Tylenol. I really am trying.
