Emma goes bananas

She did it! Finally, after many weeks of trying, Emma has learned how to eat from a spoon. It's not that I was worried she'd never learn, she is after all part Hurd, but I was beginning to wonder why it wasn't happening after so much practice. Anyway, my obsession with researching online finally paid off. A mom from one of the message boards I lurk on gave me a tip on how to hold the spoon. It totally did the trick! Emma managed to scarf down a few tbsp. of oatmeal cereal with bananas last night and even went for seconds. Let's hope that tonight is equally as successful. This is going to be so much fun...!
