Shamrocks and busy bees

Instead of chugging Guinness on the sidewalks of South Boston (fun!), Andrew and I will be celebrating in quite a different fashion this St. Patrick's Day. We'll be attending an open house at Busy Bee Daycare in Whitman on Saturday morning. The facility was recommended to us by a friend of the family and so far it seems great (minus the inevitably high price). It certainly feels strange to be arranging care for a child who isn't even born yet. I'm pretty anxious about the whole thing and feel kind of like an impostor. I guess my pleasantly swelling belly makes me an official member of the mom club. It just seems like everything's happening so fast! Better to be ahead of the game than not, though, right?

My parents are visiting this weekend, too. I'll be good to see them. Everything that's happened with UB over the last two weeks (quintuple bypass!) has really made me stop and think about the importance of family.
